Michael Kent
Michael became fascinated with construction when he picked up his first Lego. Working with a custom home builder in high school Michael knew the construction industry was where he wanted to be. Michael graduated from Texas Tech University with a Construction Technology Engineering degree in 2004. During his last year, Michael interned with Austin Commercial which lead to a job with the company. Michael spent seven years with the company working on projects to include the Texas Instruments RFAB, Omni Hotel Fort Worth and several projects at Texas Christian University. Michael headed south to San Antonio for four years working for Embrey Partners as a project manager focusing on multi-family building construction. Michael is a Fort Worth native, so when he decided to start CMK Partners in 2014, he moved his wife and two children back to the city he calls home.

 

Chris Kent
Chris, also a Fort Worth native, graduated from Texas Tech with a business degree in 2002. After graduating, Chris entered the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School. Chris served seven years as a Logistics Officer with multiple deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. After Chris’ service, he entered Babson College and received his MBA. Chris has always had an entrepreneur personality and brings the discipline of the Marine Corps and the business wisdom he received at Babson to CMK Partners. Chris lives in Fort Worth with his wife and two sons.
